Hello All, I have this odd situation - very annoying - that objects and
pictures in PowerPoint 2003 on Vista move a pixel (up or down) when clicked
on and the 'Undo' button actually says 'undo move object' ...but I only
click on it!!??

I tried updating the graphics card driver, updating PowerPoint but still
objects 'jump'?

Anyone any ideas?

Thanx

Hi Gurrt,
I remember having the same issue previously.
I'm trying out the fix now, see if this helps:
Go to My Computer > C: > Program files > Microsoft Office > Office 11.
Look for POWERPNT.exe.
Right click on POWERPNT.exe and select properties.
Select the Compatibility tab.
Put a checkmark on "Disable desktop composition".
Click Ok.
Now, open PowerPoint.
You should get a message saying the color scheme has changed to Windows
Vista Basic and some visual elements are disabled temporary.
Try and see if it works this time round.
Please reply back on your result, thanks!

This clears up both the "jumping" problem I was having when selecting an
object as well as the copy/paste option when I was using CTRL to select
multiple objects.

Hello Shawn,

(we were on vacation, sorry for not answering sooner...) but the trick you
write about, I already found on the web, it didn't work in my situation. In
the end, installing 1 by 1 all (non official) drivers for the NVIDIA video
card backward in time brought us to a driver from april or something, that
stopped the 'junping'.
Meanwhile Nf***ingVIDIA updated the drivers automatically again and AGAIN
the objects where jumping (besides from the automatic update that made the
Raid controller mal function, loosing us a week of work..) so, you can
imaginze how happy I am with nvidiass.

Thanx anyway!
