Objects, Macros & Copied TabSheets?

Excel 2000 ... I have a WorkBook with a single
TabSheet ... This TabSheet contains an "object" which I
position using recorded Macros. Everything works fine.

My goal was to create 4 more identical TabSheets in same
WorkBook (one for each Qtr) & I did this using the copy
TabSheet same WorkBook.

Issue is ... on the copied TabSheets the Macro doesn't
recognize the "object" as the same "Line number" as it did
on my original TabSheet. Consequently, the Macro fails &
I can't position the object???

To those of you that are intimate with Excel ... What
gives?

Thanks for supporting this board ... Kha

this is a programing question not an error question;
what is the object?
is the macro a wooksheet macro or a general macro. if
recorded i assume a general which means it will most
probable reference the first object only.
does the macro reference the object by name because when
you copied the tab, the objects changed names meaning you
may have to edit the code to the new objects.you may need
4 macros.(4 different objects)
i'm guessing. these are just questions that popped in mind
as i read you programming delema.
