objects and font is small

Everything on my computer is smaller not the size of the screen. but the web
pages the pictures/ print / the works I did not change the apperance. Or any
thing like that it just did it. I have tryed everything but can't get it to
return to normal. Any ideas.

Have you checked your screen resolution settings?

Control Panel > Personalisation > Screen Resolution

What should the resolution be set on and why would it change if I never
touched it"?
I have not a clue how to understand it so I do not touch it. Thanks for your
help
 
Okay I read a little futher and I went in and changed my resoultion which is
the trick.. Thank s for all help this is a great little site.

That depends on what screen you have. Usually, you will find this
information in the computer manual or on the manufacturer's website. You can
post the make and model in this thread, and somebody may be able to tell
you.

Even if you do not know what resolution your screen should have, there is
nothing wrong with experimenting with the settings in Control Panel >
Appearance and Personalisation > Screen resolution, until you find the right
one.

Hard to say. It could be due to an update, alterations made by a game or
other software, or something completely different. If the problem persists,
do a System Restore to a point in time prior to when this first happened
(Start Menu > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore).

Is yours an LCD monitor or a CRT?

If it's an LCD, it should be to the screen's native resolution.
Consult your documentation or the monitor manufacturer's web site to
find out what that is.

If it's a CRT, there is no "should"; you can set it to whatever
available choice you prefer.
