There are ways to make it appear like this is what is happening, would that
be good enough?
On the first slide remove the advance on click option (transitions pane).
Apply the Hyperlink to the shape to be clicked that 'advances to next
slide". Create a new slide that looks like the end of the first one, the
create an animation that activates with previous and auto-advances in 00:01
seconds. The user will click on the shape and will not notice the slide
change (because it is identical), will see the animation and then the new
slide. Work?
