Object Picker

NMS

I am trying to add a user into active directory users list
but i am getting this error
"object picker cannot open because no locations from which
to choose objects could be found" after clicking ok button
I get "The parameter is incorrect"

the article NO:284914 couldn't helpme because the "Remote
registry services" is running.

Any idea is appreciated

I've seen this before and it was caused by one of two things, the DNS
settings and the AD replication service lagging behind on updating all DC's.
Use the nslookup tool in the command prompt to ensure that dns is resolving
all the DC's in your Forest/Tree

Just to add, if NMS is using his/her ISP's DNS in IP properties,
he'll/she'll need to remove it and just use the internal DNS only.
Otherwise, it would be prudent to ask for:

1. An unedited ipconfig /all from the DC.
2. The AD DNS domain name (as it shows up in ADUC).
