Object Not Found

When I attempt to open a calendar item (that I used to be able to access)
that is a reoccuring appointment, I am receiving a message that says, "Can't
open this item. The operations failed. An object could not be found."

Any thoughts as to why?
 
I saw the same issue on two laptops where I work. I spent days researching
this problem with no solution. What it appeared to be was a problem with the
cached forms and the KB said to do "clear cache" and that didn't work for me.
I have since come up with a solution to the problem. You need to physically
delete the cached form file from your profile. Outlook with regenerate the
file when you run it again.

Close outlook and delete this file:

c:\documents and settings\user profile\local settings\application
data\microsoft\forms\frmcache.dat
