Object group level 0

I'm getting an error when running a report where a value for the field
[ManufacturerName] is asked for. This value is not used anywhere on the
report; and consequently should not be needed.

Using Tools - Analyze - Documenter, I've been able to locate it at Objects
Group Level 0 ControlSource: ManufacturerName.

My question is: what is this Group Level 0, and how can I get rid of it, or
change it's control source to something actually used in the report?

Open the report in design view. Click on Sorting and Grouping.
Group Level 0 will be the lowest level or first grouping listed.

Open the report in design view.
Click on the View menu item Sorting and Grouping.
