Plaese post all pertinent information inclusing why you thisnk this is a "virus" and what is
the fully qualified name and path to the file.

Any/all log exerpts would be helpful about this file.

I think it is a virus because I downloaded an app & ran a AVG virus scan
before installing & it said a threat was found by that name.Is it not a
virus ?

Can you please extract a snippet of the AVG log concerning this ?
For example, what file was found to be infected with "obfustat.luf".

Is "obfustat.luf" the FULL infector name that AVG declared it as ?

Do you still have the file ?

Could you also please post an obfuscated URL of the place you downloaded the app.

That'st wahat I thought. It is associated with the SnagIt Keygen.

My research showed that this may have been a Trojan packaged with SnagIt Keygens for
obtaining software illegetimately.
