In Outlook 2007, when viewing the calendar page, how do I get rid of the
useless junk that clogs the left pane. If I could remove this junk, I could
see more months.

Stuff like:

My Calendars bar
People's Calendars bar
Other Calendars bar
How to share calendars link
Open a Shared calendar link
Search Calendars Online link
Share my calendar link
Send a Calendar via email link
Publish My Calendar
Add New Group

Thanks,

Create a few groups and put the folders you don't want to see in them, then
keep those groups closed. Sometimes it doesn't work as you expect, i.e. the
groups won't stay closed...but it's still easier to organize the calendars
that way.

I'm not really sure what you're talking about when you mention the links -- I
don't have any links in my Navigation Pane. Is the Navigation Pane what
you're looking at? Are the items local folders, or shared folders in
Exchange, or...?

When viewing Calendars, in the left pane it says "Calendar". Under that is a
monthly view of a calendar. Under that are the groups. Under that are the
following hyperlinks:
How to share calendars
Open a Shared calendar...
Search Calendars Online
Share my calendar...
Send a Calendar via email...
Publish My Calendar...
Add New Group

That is really odd. Can you take a screenshot of this and post it to
tinyurl.com, then post the tinyurl address here? Make sure your screenshot
doesn't include any personally-identifiable or private information.

OK, I was wrong...I do have those links but I had to scroll way down to see
them because I have a lot of different calendars in my list and a lot of
different views set up for each one. If you want to see more of the
mini-calendars, you'll have to move the right-hand edge of the Nav Pane to
the right...I don't see any way to hide the hyperlinks section.

You could also turn on the To-Do Bar from the View menu and have it show
calendars only (no tasks or separate appointments).
