I've always set a limit in Outlook so that only headers are downloaded
for emails above a certain size. This is really useful when using
dial-up on the road.
Since moving to O2007, this process has (reproducably) produced a
corrupt PST file. I right-click the header in the list of messages, and
select either to download the message or a copy. Click send/receive,
and the message appears to be downloaded, with an attachment indicator
(paperclip) and the size shown as expected, but when I try to open it,
it prompts me a second time to download it, and no amount of marking or
send/receive delivers a readable email. If I run scanpst, it finds and
repairs errors and the message is accessible.
Is this a known bug? Is there a fix? Thanks in advance...
