O/T hardware upgrade

Hello, as I said in the subject line, this is off-topic, but it does include
Win XP. I am thinking of upgrading my PC, the specs are as follows;

Win XP Pro
Athlon XP 2400 cpu
512MB PC2100 Ram
Radeon 9800 Pro video card
Asus A7N8X Deluxe mobo

What do you think would be the best upgrade bang for buck? This is for an
all round multimedia system, I tend to think that maybe changing my Ram to
PC 3200 or better or a more powerful cpu may be the way to go, but I'm not
sure.

Mtia for anyone taking the time to read and reply to this post,

Your system will be fast as stands.
If I were looking to upgrade I think I'd be apt to double the ram as opposed
to changing it to 3200 though. Just one guys opinion.

That is pretty well balanced and I doubt if there is much to be gained
short of a complete rebuild round a new mobo and CPU with the latest RAM
(do not, whatever you, do try to add a different RAM type to what you
have).

Some more of the same RAM might help *if* you are loading it up heavily.
Go to www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_pagefilemon.htm and download the
utility. Use it to check how much *actual* use you make of your page
file. If that is more than a trivial 30 or 40 MB, more RAM might
improve things, and the extent of use would suggest the amount.

The most useful speed up might come from a faster hard disk. You
probably have a 7200 rpm one; certainly if it is slower a 7200 would
help, but the very fast 10500 ones are becoming a practical proposition
now
