When I try to go into my Inbox, the piece of mail that is
at the top of the list opens immediately. I have gotten
over 30 of the Microsoft Security Alert et al messages
in the last 2 days. Some of them don't have attachments
and I think may possibly load the virus when the E-mail
is opened. Although I have all the appropriate safeguards
in place, we all know some of these get here before there
is a patch or fix available. One of these days I'm afraid
I will open the OE and the first message will open and
load. Is there a setting that I can use to have the
program only show the who from section, so I can make the
appropriate deletions without opening the messages?

Payton,
Open OE, click 'View' then 'Layout', then untick 'show preview pane'. Click
'apply' and 'OK', then just the headers will display when OE opens
Hope this helps,
Chek
