How do I split a cell in a table?
If I click a cell, then click the Tables menu, the Split Cell command as
well as the ones immediately above and below it are greyed out. No amount of
clicking or selecting cells, seems to make a difference.

Join the club. The only reason I can't use NVU as my default HTML editor is
the tables don't seem to act right. Hope they improve tables in the next
release.
