I have Vista 5600RC1-32bit. My graphcis card is a GeForce 6800 AGP. When I
start my computer from hibernation or sleep the taskbar and the sidebar have
strange colors and "disrupted" graphics. If I enlarge the taskbar and resize
it again it looks OK again. Removing the sidebar and then starting it up
again solves that problem.
When I start the computer normally (not from hibernation/sleep) everything
works correctly.
Does anyone have the same problem?

I had a bunch of problems using Nvidia before and that is why I now use
an Ati solution which is much better for overall business and gaming
compatibility. Although, Nvidia may be the leader now, I can see Ati
taking over in the future. Ati customer support has always been great
to me as well. I currently use an Ati Radeon 9800 XT with 256 megabytes
of video ram that works in 98 Second Edition with a Window Millennium
driver, XP Professional, and in my testing of Windows Vista -- 32 bit
edition and the Ultimate --- style -- oh yeah!

I had the same problem with my GeForce 6800, you're not alone. Reducing the
color to 16-bit "solved" it as well, but that's a crappy solution.

It was an upgrade from a 3dfx video card that did not work with the
Nvidia G-Force or GE-Force solution and the Ati video card worked well
so I remained loyal to ATI.

Exactly and thank you James for your support. I think it is high time
the gaming industry switched to Ati as the new gold standard and made
Nvidia the silver standard --- the roles need to be reversed in my opinion.
