The new drivers are right across the board, Vista, XP, 32 bit & 64 Bit, 98, 88 and 76 series.

Wizkid's link just happens to go to the 64 Bit Vista version.

Don't you people have the ability to just check yourself? :rolleyes:

And yes, Nvidia drivers put a desktop link to the Portal game which I personally think is bang out of order and extremely annoying but all you have to do is right click and delete, it's no biggie.

Again, thanks to Wizkid for letting us know new drivers are available, they're the first WHQL ones for six months now.

I've updated my Vista/9800 GTX and XP/8800GTS drivers so far.

I'll get round to the 7600GT drivers soon. And if there are any new drivers for the 6800 128Mb AGP card I will update those as well :)

Hello,

Can I remove the 2 frist folders in this folder as I'm using the bottom one? The 2 other folders have things in them but do I need them?

I'm not sure but if it were me I'd leave them be. They don't take up much room and they're certainly not doing any harm.

Did you uninstall your old Nvidia drivers before installing 175.16?

Some folks do uninstall, some folks don't. I always do.

I'm guessing you didn't.

In which case, Vista will arrange things so that you can 'roll back' to previous driver versions should you have a problem with the new ones.
 
well even when i uninstall old drivers and install fresh ones, those folders are still there.
I usually just delete the older ones.

Thanks for your reply.

I did remove these drivers trough add and remove programs and then I used driver sweeper as well, they look like setup files for older drivers that I've installed before.

None at all, just make sure you dont delete the one u just installed :)

if in doubt just leave them as is.
