NVIDIA Graphics Card problem

I have a nvidia Geforce4 mx420 graphics card which I could enable
secondry desktop/extended desktop on.

However. when I updated the driver, the PC no longer gives me the option
on extended desktop and I cannot find out how to enable it.

How do I get this option back?

Roll back the driver, or install the correct one from the manufacturers
web site.
