I have a GO 7600 graphics card in my VAIO laptop and if I ever try to
activate any of the 3D programmes that use the Areo functionality I am
presented with the dreaded blue screen of death. Nvidia have been - lets say
"damned unhelpful" and won't answer the question, Sony refer me to Microsoft
or Nvidia. Does anyone no how to make the thing work with Vista RC1 ?????

Since any support available for RC1 especially for graphics shortly after
the arrival of RC2 and now Winupdate support for RC2 also appears to no
longer be available since RTM has occured. Y ou will probabaly just have to
wait any purchase Vista on January 30th.

At this time, many of the GeForce GO drivers are not working correctly.
There will likely be updated nVidia drivers closer to go-live and laptop
manufacturers will certainly be releasing updated drivers soon ... but for
now, and for RC1, there is no cure.

Did you really expect support for an unsupported beta product? :-)

The GO series drivers are different than the regular GeForce drivers. They
will work, but won't handle AERO. I don't know why, it is just a problem in
the drivers. Surely NVidia will have something on that soon.

Wow, Richard.. that's going to open the door to thousands of questions.. :-)

Actually, "support" is supposed to be why we're here. ;-)

While I certainly agree with that I still find it amusing that the OP stated
nvidia was "damned unhelpful" because they are not supporting a beta release
:-)
