And it also costs about the same. You also need a new Core Duo system to
take advantage of the card. It's getting quite expensive.

It's a remarquable DX9 performer but what if it were totally inadequate for
DX10 games? I'd wait for the ATI R600 to come out and then for the DX10
benchmarks.

This would have been a valid analogy, except the PS3 will be neither
affordable nor widely available. :-P
