NVIDIA DVD Decoder

Could somebody please give me advise on how to get some
DVD Decoder software for my computer. I have a PIII 866
with 256 mb of ram. Well over a year ago, I upgraded my
ATI Radeon PCI graphics card with an NVIDIA TNT-2 AGP with
twice as much memory 64 MB. While it is noticeably faster
than my old one I haven't been able to watch my DVDs on my
computer ever since.

The Cd it came with has DVD decoder software on it however
it needs a registration # that is either to be on the
packaging or on the box.I can't find that # anywhere and
have tried the UPC code on the box and the serial number
on the sticker of the card itself. The CD came in a little
white sleeve with no info on it. I downloaded the software
to play DVD's from them but it expired after 14 days. I
didn't even use their crappy player because I like Media
player way better.

After two weeks the software expired and I couldn't play
DVD's in any program. Media Player gives the error that I
need a DVD Decoder.

The small store I bought it from told me this was a way
better card for the money than the ATI however I soon
found out that NVIDIA doesn't provide much in the way of
customer support. They actually license the chips to a
number of companies who then retail them.

Mine was by a tiny company called Colorstream. The
Colorstream website simply links to NVIDIA's web site for
download and drivers. When I tried NVIDIA's web site and
downloaded the NVDVD program again my computer already
knows it's time for me to buy the software.

I finally broke down and tried to buy the software so I
could watch my movies, but found that NVIDIA's online
purchasing rejects my credit card. The same thing happens
over the phone with them. I call and they reject it even
though there is no outstanding balance month to month and
a $5000.00 Canadian Credit Limit on the Mastercard. THe
software costs about $45.00 US. I can use it without a
hitch at any store in my local mall or online at major
retailers like amazon and ebay and have countless times.

Is there anyone who knows how to find a DVD Decoder or my
serial # for my software???

Thanks a bunch eh!!

Have you checked on the CD itself, sometimes on the label of the CD the
registration number is there
