nvidia download.

Could someone tell me why I downloaded the latest version
of the nvidia gforce 420 version 6177. But today, when I
ran windows update, it showed a critical update telling
me to download the gforce version 5122 (?). An older one
that I just got rid of. Is This because it was
downloaded from the website and the driver was not
installed from a cd.
 
I downloaded the latest video driver from the nVdia site
and installed same. Now, the Windows Update site tells
me I need to install two video drivers both of which are
older than my current driver. I think Windows Update is
just behind nVidia.

With the new site format, I hide those two older versions
and now I just done't see them any more.
