Hi, I have a
256mb Nvidia 6200 OC card. I am able to run aero, but for some strange
reason i cant run the Experience Index. It freezes when it does the Direct3D
Texture Load Assesment. A bubble pops up at the tray and tells me that the
driver nvlddmkm stopped working but recovered. and the assesment never
finishes. ever... i left the pc on for two days and it never moved. i am
using the nvidia rc1 drivers. I cant even play the windows games like chess.
because i get the same driver issue pop up and the screen goes black for a
while.

I have an HP M7060N Media Center
Pentium 4HT 1GB Ram
180 GB Hard Drive
5744 Vista RC2

any help would be greatly appreciated

A lot of people are having problems with the RC 1 drivers (the ones on
nVidia website). The drivers included in RC 2 are newer. Try reinstalling
the drivers included with RC 2 and rerun the test.

ROLL BACK THE nVidia RC1 D4RIVERS!!!!
The drivers on the original install are newer and better.
This is ALL you have to do!

P. S.
Use device manager to roll back the drivers. (Video Adaper--Properties--
Driver))
Then remove the 96.33 install through Control Panel (Programs Installed --
or whatever-- on XP Machine right now.)
