How can I tell which Nvidia card I have in my hand?

I inherited this from a "broken" computer, and I'd like to know which
card it is before I start to use it. It's got a heatsink, (no fan),
looks like four chips on it, and their website has no pictures. The
only thing close to an ID I see on it is "p 300", but there's nothing
like that on their website? Any good? Any ideas on what this thing is?

Thanks

Most nVidia vedio card all use the same drivers. So iff you install the
nVidia drivers (www,nvidia.com) they should list out the card model.

Look for an FCC ID number and Google it, these numbers are unique.
Alternatively install it and run something like Belarc or Everest, both are
free.

Aha!
Good tip. What we have here is a P73CR with 64 M RAM. Would I be better
off using this or the onboard shared 256? I'm not a hard core gamer or
anything, but it would be nice to be able to use all my system RAM. Or
I have no clue what I'm talking about. Help me out here. Thanks.

Most on-board video is limited to 32-64 MB and does not use
all of your RAM, which I take is just 256 MB.

You should get additional RAM and use the card. Just make
sure you have an AGP slot on your mobo.

Download the manual for the card from NVIDIA and the mobo
manual from the maker's site.

You may need to update the BIOS or make changes in the
settings.
