Has anyone heard anything about the new Nvidia 9 series, specifically the 9800? Reading around on the net it was rumoured that they were going to be released about mid-November time with Crysis, but I haven't heard anything.


I ask because I'm going to be building a new PC in early Jan and was looking at a OCd 8800GT (675MHz), but don't want to be obselete in a year!

Any advice?

I heard that the 9800s won't come until Q3 2008.

The 8800GTX is still miles in front.

There is very little need for them to release it now.

They ahve that revised 8800GTS coming up instead I think.
 
they are going to release the 92nm versions on the 8800GTS, apparently they going to be faster than the 8800gt
