I got a virus a month or so ago, and ended up formatting
HD and reinstalling Windows XP. Loaded all of my stuff
back up, and updated all drivers to most up to date.
Running PNY GEForce Ti 4200 video card. All of the most
recent drivers downloaded and installed. Installed most
recent Windows patches. Installed DirectX 9.
Now, when I reboot computer, I go into infinite loops,
and may take up to a few hours before computer somehow
gets through the loop, and I can actually see the
desktop. However, there is always an error message, and
blaming file: NV4_DLL as being the problem.
Any suggestions? I never had this problem before the
virus and formatting of the HD, so I am not for sure why
I would be getting it now. Thanks in advance
