I am trying to find an accurate program where I can enter a food and look up
it's nutritional value. Nothing fancy, on that just what shows the
catagories on the labels in stores wood be fine. I would like to be able to
add my own data for new foods also.

Food Composition: uses the USDA database - AFAIK you can't add foods - I
use it and like it.

If you want to add foods you may need a recipe or diet program (scroll
up or down on the same page:
