Numeric -> Text conversion

I've got a date field, and have extracted the month using the MONTH
function.

I want to put the month into a text field, two digits in width. e.g. 07 for
July, 09 for September, 12 for December.

I don't want it 'formatted' so that it looks like two digits. I want the
actual value to be two digits.

Any quick solutions ??

Using Office 2000.

Regards,
Mike.

Thanks guys.

Must have tried most variations along the way, but didn't get those. That's
perfect.

Cheers.
Mike.
