I just upgrade to Win2000Pro from Win98SE. My numberic
keypad no longer works with Win2000. It worked fine in
Win98se.
Is there anything I can do to resovle this?
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

If the numlock key has no effect then try another keyboard.

"no longer works" could mean a lot of things. Does the indicator light on
the keyboard not light? Or does it stay lit, in spite of pressing [Num
Lock]? Or, does it toggle, but have no affect on the function of the keypad?
Or, did it used to be on automatically on boot up, and now comes on, but
then turns off and stays off when you see the Logon dialog? If that last one
is it, please see "How to Enable the NUM LOCK Key for the Logon Screen" at
<http://support.microsoft.com/?id=154529>

Thank you Greg, for the response,

The num Lock key seems to be working in reverse... When
the light is on, it works. When the light is off, it's
locked. The reverse from when it ran Win98se.
I'm not going to worry too much about it since I can get
it working. I can live with the light "mode" operating in
reverse.
Thanks again,
Mike
