Numbers in cells

Can anyone help, I am sort of green in the excel Dept.
What I am trying to do is to have or make a column of numbers which will
follow on in sequence, as in the example.
if you would please give your ideas in plane and basic as possible

also is it possible for this number to be entered into column automatic when
I enter print in column b
 
As basic as possible.

Enter 1 in A1
Enter 2 in A2

Select both cells by clicking in A1 and dragging down to A2 so that both
cells are highlighted.

You now have a border around both cells, with a tiny square in the lower
right hand corner of the border.

Place your cursor over this tiny square so that the cursor changes from a
fat white cross to a skinny black cross.

While it's a skinny black cross, click and drag down as far as necessary.
When you release the mouse button, you will see that the numbers are all
there, in order.

Don't understand the second part of you question, BUT,
If you now enter data in B1,
And you again place your cursor over the tiny black square of this single B1
cell until it changes to a skinny black cross,
And now just DOUBLE CLICK your mouse while the cursor is still a skinny
cross,
you will automatically copy the contents of cell B1 all the way down column
B,
As far as you put the numbers in column A.
