I have a legal size doc that is perforated into 4 sections. I want to number
on each of these but I want the same number on all 4 sections of one sheet
then progressive numbering in that pattern. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Vicki

Suzanne, thank you for this. I was able to get numbering on each section but
it is sequential from the start, but it is a step in the right direction. I
do not get the option to omit the «NextRecord» field. I will keep trying on
my end but if you find a solution that would be great.

After you propagate the labels, you edit them manually to remove the
«NextRecord» field. Or you can use SEQ fields, using the \c switch in each
label after the first on each page. The advantage of SEQ fields is that you
can add a numeric picture switch to add leading zeros if desired.

After I propagate the labels it just fills in the numbers and I do not have
the option to remove the NextRecord field. Thanks anyway.

After you propagate the labels but before you complete the merge, what is
being displayed is just sample content. Press Alt+F9 to display the
underlying field codes and remove the { NEXT } fields.
