Numbering in a report

Access 2000

I have a report based on a query that list items checked
(check box)from a form (if they are checked). When I send
this to a Report it looks fine. However, I was wondering
if there was some way in the Report that I could include
item sequential numbering. First item 1., second item 2.,
and so on.

Any help appreciated.

Try this...
Add a text box to the report to hold the sequence
numbers. Set its Control Source "=1" (no quotes). Set
its Running Sum property as you prefer, over a group or
over the whole report.
