I have had around 16 Users with no problems.
Some people in the Newsgroups say to never trust over 5
Users. Have heard others say 25 is the danger point.

Welcome a discussion on this. TIA - Bob

There's no hard and fast number. It all depends on how well designed your
database (and application) is, what your users are doing (i.e. read-only vs.
updating), network performance, and a host of other factors.

Doug, Thank you.

I have a friend in Miami (I'm in Kentucky) who has
a "smaller" DB with 31 Users. My hunch is he probably
won't have any major problems.

I'll ask him to monitor & let me know.

Larry Linson (?) reported that he has an Access database
with over 100 users without any problems. I suppose it
must be of Larry's high-quality design!

Wonderful. I think Access is greatly under-rated.
I know it has limits, but Ive seen it do some pretty
robust things.

we have about 100 users at any given time using a variety
of Access databases, all of which require people to enter
information.

James, Thank you.
