I am a teacher and have set up a small network in my
classroom (20 computers connected to a server running W2K)
The server has a shared folder that the users access. The
problema is that no more than 10 users can access the
shared folder at a time? I have changed the number of
shares using the Administrator program to 50, but it
doesn't seem to matter only the first 10 people to access
the shared folder get it, the others get an error
message? Any help would be appreciated

This normally is an issue if you use Windows2000 Pro
(or XP Pro) as a server operating platform, rather than
Windows2000 or 2003 Server. The workstation Pro
versions all have a 10-user license limitation which is
hard-wired in to the networking kernel.

To go beyond on the Windows platform you will need to
get Windows2000 server,. client licenses and then reinstall
your server o/s (there is no upgrade path.)

Sounds like you might only have 10 client licenses installed on your server.
Check the "Licensing" applet in control panel and purchase additional
licenses if necessary.
