Does anyone know the current number of C# and VB.Net developers, and anymore statistics for .Net

TIA, Mike

Bad answer, no question is silly

We are evaluating whether to use C# or VB for development. It would be nice to know the size of the pool of developers from each group, so that skills are easier to come by, when we hire support developers

If you do not have an answer for a question posed in a newsgroup please do not post anything.

The number of developers I don't know.
But I think that people that start to learn .NET will more often go towards
C#
On the other hand you still have VB programmers that have their experience
from previous version
Event they often move towards C#
So if I were you I would go for C#

Hi Mike,

Never learned something from economics.

What is scarce is more expensive, so look at the prices for the programmers
in your regio and you have your answer.

Just my thought,

Thanks for your responses. I have not thought about looking for developers rates in our reqion. I also do believe the trend does sway towards C#.

Thanks for your input. Mike
