Are there any plans to increase the number of contacts that one can track in
MSN Messenger? The current limit is 150, I believe.

Greetings Chris,

Yes, 150 is the limit on the main contact list, and no, there are no plans in the immediate
future to change these (regardless what rumors will tell you).

I think that the 150 limit is far too small, i currently have 7 hotmail
accounts, 3 which i run using a hacked version of MSN(polygamy) i have 3 MSN
icons at the bottom of my Taskbar. Its extremely annoying, i only want 1.

I would strongy recommend that you would increase the limit, or even
possible, remove it completely. Soon you hotmail/MSN will be offering
increased e-mail storage. Its a good idea, but i would rather have a 500
contact list limit(this is a example) than the storage, even tho it is a good
idea. I just think that if MSN do increase it then people wouldn't be forced
to download third party program or hacks to make things work.

I think MSN is great compared to ICQ, AOL, Yahoo, Jabber, IRC etc. It looks
and feels better, and the service is great, i cannot fault it unless they
didn't have a contact list limit.

I would think about it peeps. :)
