Bleached Teeth

I am hoping the knowledgable souls on here can help.. I have been
asked to look into what is necessary to upgrade a small shops current
server machine (running Win 98 SE with 2 parallel port dot matrix
printers attached) which has 7 or 8 other users mapped to the c: drive
of the win 98 machine from each of their own computers throughout the
shop..
the reason they are all mapped to the win98 machine is because that is
where the DOS database backend resides. (they all have their own local
copy of the frontend of the database)

how many concurrent users can map to an xp pro machine or win 7 pro
machine in a similar fashion ?? unfortunately the DOS database
program has to still be used. so i know i can not use a 64 bit version
of windows..
Help me out, Suggestions ?? Thanks

10 for Windows XP Pro, 20 for any Windows 7 version.
