number of computers you can network

how many computers can you network at a time....we have
12 and when we turn them all on it wont accept them
all........can I change the settings??

However there is a limit on simultaneous connections.

Just to clarify, those are the limits on inbound connections to
shared resources. They are limits on the number of PCs that
can connect to a XP PC's resources, not on the number of
resources to which other PCs connect.
