Number Generator

Hi, Can anybody help me? I am trying to create a form in FP2003 so that when
somebody fills in the form and clicks submit it generates an 'order number',
I would also like this to be sent to me. Any suggestions?
 
If you are being hosted on a Windows server and run ASP you can hire me or
somebody else to develop the server-side scripts that require modifying or
accessing a database. So I have a question. How can you generate an 'order'
if you do not have a shopping cart? If you need a cart check out BV Software
[1] or CandyPress [2].
