I have discovered that there are some registry settings under
HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\Console that control the behavior of the ntvdm console.
Does anyone know where I can find some documentation on this?

Those are mostly accessible on the property page for a cmd.exe session.

Google has plenty of info.

Thanks to both of you.

I wasn't able to find anything on Google--probably not searching for the
right stuff. I was able to find some stuff in the Win2K Resource Kit, though,
in the Registry reference section.

You have something else wrong in that case. I check again: go to
google.com and type in "ntvdm" . That's all. Works fine.
