Windows XP $NtUninstallKB916595$ folders in WINDOWS folder...

can someone tell me what these folders are for and can i delete them? there are 106 of these folders in my WINDOWS folder and they are taking up a good amount of space....

They are the uninstall folders for the windows update hotfix's. You can delete them if you don't plan on uninstalling the patches. More in the link below. :)

Ccleaner does a good job of removing them along with some other stuff.
