$ntUninstall dir - OK to remove?

X

XPHomey

Trying to free up space on 9GB c:\. Only 2GB are still
free. Any known issues with deleting all the
$NTUninstallKBxxxx files? WinXPHome SP1. I also use
SysMechanic & ExecSoft Defragger regularly, but with the
volume of XP patches coming out - installed in the root
drive automagically ;-( I need to either move them to
other logical drive, or delete them.

TIA

Hi XPHomey,

As long as you're certain that you won't be needing/wanting to uninstall the
hotfixes in the $NTUninstallKBxxxx folders, there's no issues that I know of
in deleting them.
