Hi,
I have a DELL laptop, came with XP Pro installed. Not
being a fan of XP I purchased 2 copies of 2000 Pro, one
for laptop and one for home PC.
When installing 2000 on the laptop, I firstly delete the
XP partition, then create a new one and format it NTFS
using 2000's set-up prog.
Halfway through copying files from CD, i get an error with
NTSD.exe saying it is not a valid Windows 2000 set-up
file. Thinking possibly that the CD was corrupt, I tried
using the other CD, but got the same error.
Anyone got any ideas ?
Thanks,
Chris.
