NTOSKRNL.exe

My w2k machine froze on me so I cold booted. Upon boot
up an error message said the NTOSKRNL.exe file was
corrupt. So I copied a new file. That did not fix the
error. So I did a restore with the ERD, Now it will not
finsish booting. The booting windows 2000 progress bar
goes to across the bottom of the screen and stops. I am
hoping someone will know of a way around or a utility that
will allow me to boot so I can recover all my data.
