Hi,

I have just installed a bigger drive 512MB to 2Gb Micro Disk module which
plugs in to an ATA socket on my test thin client. The image partitions the
new drive as 512Mb, this is good but on boot it throws up a file is missing
or corrupt message and specifies the ntoskrnl.exe file - re-install or copy
the file. Now I booted with a USB key and know for fact the file is there. I
also tried changing the boot.ini and actually replace the file... all no
good...

Can anyone shed some light on this error....HELP

Can you connect the device while booted to another media and find out if
it's showing up as removable or not? Partitions on removable media cause
problems.

Hi,

Partition shows as a fixed Partition...fdisk confirmas as well as Bios allso
confirms it when you search for HDD...

Hi Adora,

The Disk in Question is a Disk On Module which plugs directly into the IDE1
port on the thin client, the Bios has found this device as the primary disk.
It doesn't show up as removable...
