I have a Compaq ML370. I originally installed NT4.0,
made it the BDC and promoted to PDC. Then I upgraded to
W2K. I then installed Exchagne 2000 and migrated our
Exchange5.5 info to the this server. I had Microsoft
support come in remotely and do alot of the work with us
and check things out to make sure Exchange was working
properly. Since the exchange upgrade, the server server
has blue screened almost everyday or every other day. It
just did it and it said:
Stop 0x0000001e
(0xc0000005,0x804c1aae,0x00000001,0x006500d6)
Kmode_Exception_Not_Handled. Address 804c1aae base at
804000000 DateStamp 3df90c0d-NTOSKRNL.EXE.

I have a dump from it also but i really don't know what
to do with it. I have looked at with Dumpchk but I don't
know what to look for or at. I really need to get this
resovled. Any thoughts or ideas will be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks
Rich

I called Compaq about it and they had me run this driver
update program that updates all the drivers to the latest
version from Compaq. And no there isn't a burner on it.
What else should I do? I thought about re applying the
Service Pack and then updating the drives again. Any
other thoughts?
Thanks

Rich these KMODE_EXCEPTIONS are usually a result of
incompatible drivers. The 0xc0000005 usually signifies
an access violation. You don't have a CD Burner on this
machine do you?
