Hi all!

I have a system with 2 partitions:

|------FAT32--------|-----------NTFS------------|

The FAT32 OS (XP Home Ed) starts without problems, whereas the NTFS OS (XP
Pro) displays the message "NTLDR not found". I created a diskette with
NTDLR, NTDETECT.COM and BOOT.INI. With it the system on the NTFS partition
started normally.

I tried to copy the diskette files on the HD (root directory of both
partitions) but the problem persisted and the NTFS system continue to start
only with the diskette.

Where should those lacking files be copied?

Many thanks in advance.

Gilberto

You only need the ntldr file on the boot drive/partition, not on both. The
boot.ini should then point to both partitions so you can dual boot. Easiest
way to fix yours is to boot to the xp pro cd and do a repair install. It
should fix the dual boot for you.
