Hi,
The NTLDR.EXE file is used by NT during startup and must
be located in your root (ie c:\) directory. It can only be
deleted manually or when instructed to be deleted via some
process (like cleanup scripts, etc ...). Virusses may also
remove or replace this file. You may try the log
bootlog.txt to see if information is written there if
bootlogging is requested. Without the ntldr.exe file, the
bootup won't get very far, and you will need to recover
the file via the emergency recovery procedures. Hope this
