ntldr missing

I was in the middle of playing Neverwinter Nights (an
online RPG Game) when my computer froze. Upon restarting A
black screen came up saying that the ntldr is missing and
to hit ctr alt del to restart. Doesnt seem to fix itself
so I was hoping someone here could help me

If you have the XP install CD you can extract the file from it once you boot into repair console and then replace it at the root of C:\. You can try and use repair console to put it back also sometimes that doesn't always work though. I usually keep a copy on a floppy disk for just this reason.

Did you have a floppy diskette in the a: drive? Try removing it and rebooting first.
