I just got a new sata hard drive after my last hdd having a boot
sector virus. So everything is installed and running fine but after
partitioning the hard drive through the WD Data Lifeguard Tools I
tried installing windows xp pro.

After it attempts to install all of the windows files I get a message
saying "NTLDR is missing" hit ctrl alt del to restart.

I am using a A8V deluxe asus mobo. Windows xp PRO and a Western
Digital Serial ATA 250GB hard drive.

Thats normally just because you dont have the
right hard drive selected in the boot list in the bios.

When installing windows, did you hit F6 and feed it the SATA
driver floppy as prompted?
