What are some "conditions" that would/could contribute to receiving an error
"NTLDR is compressed" upon bootup with windows XP home? The error condition
is similar to "NTLDR is missing." where the machine simply stops booting
during POST.
File format is NTFS and this machine has never had an upgrade to the OS...xp
out of the box. The machine has booted up previously. Unfortunately I
don't have enough info to post as to events leading up to issue beginning to
occur.
Anyone's contribution will be appreciated.
