Does anyone know how I can convert my C drive from NTFS to
something else like FAT32. My modem isn't compatible with
2000 so i'm trying to reinstall 98 but it won't do it
because I'm using NTFS. Help please!

Conversion isn't necessary. To wipe the drive, some ways include; boot a
win98 startup disk, run fdisk and delete all partition information found (as
long as NTFS is primary). Or boot the Windows XP CD-Rom and when you get to
the point, delete the existing NTFS and or other partitions found, then
abort the install. Or use a utility named delpart. Once removed you can
partition and format the drive as you wish. Boot the Win98 CD-Rom or restore
CD-Rom to start your install.

You cannot convert NTFS to FAT32. You must reformat the drive and reinstall
Windows 98.

But seriously, spend $20 and get a new modem. You'll be a LOT further ahead
in the long run. The lack of security and stability in Windows 98 is
downright evil by today's standards.
